NanoItaly Association was founded with the aim of promoting, enhancing and supporting the role of nano bio-technologies in Italian and European society in all application, social and economic contexts with reference to the development of technologies of industrial interest and impact social and population of productive innovations based on nano aspects.

The Association is a cultural association without any profit-making, apolitical and non-denominational purpose, organized on the sovereignty of the Assembly of members and whose corporate offices are elective and covered free of charge.

The main purpose of the Association is to promote and support the integration of the community pertaining to the vast sector of nano bio-technologies, composed of researchers, technologists and operators from public research structures and industrial laboratories, in order to discuss innovative ideas, exchange knowledge and foster the transfer of know-how, allowing the integration of ideas and knowledge between the various areas of application.

It is our conviction that meeting and integration between scientific and technological communities traditionally separated from each other in order to build a new reality able to define new objectives and influence the transfer of nanotechnological skills from laboratories to companies and markets, represents an absolute necessity for a profitable development of nanotechnologies in the country.

The Association aims to support and encourage collaboration between research institutions and industry, also in order to carry out research projects for participation in calls for funding both at national and European level, to promote the creation of research networks and infrastructure for research needs in the field of nano-bio-technologies and nanosciences.

The Association pays attention to the training of young researchers and technologists and to their insertion into the world of work, fostering the encounter between the requests for qualified work, especially in the industrial sector and the young people trained by the academic system.

The Association Membership provides the opportunity to participate in initiatives, take advantage of the services offered in a dynamic framework in which active involvement can contribute to defining strategies and objectives.

Memberships are open to both individuals and communities interested in participating in the development of the diverse world of nano-bio-technologies. Researchers and technologists of public and private structures, entrepreneurs, product developers, professionals, investors, public and private planners can all obtain advantages and support for their specific activities from participation in our community.
